# RightSlope

> RightSlope is a web application for rock slope stability analysis from structural mapping data.
> From one scanline file it produces the stereonet with automatic discontinuity-set identification,
> sector-by-sector kinematic analysis, limit-equilibrium factors of safety for four failure modes,

## What it does

- Field data: reads .csv, .xlsx, .xls (minimum columns: dipdir, dip; max 10 MB); filters by scanline and discontinuity type; magnetic declination correction; Terzaghi weighting.
- Stereonet: equal-angle (Wulff) lower-hemisphere projection; automatic clustering into up to 10 sets; pole density; Fisher concentration per set.
- Kinematic analysis: planar sliding, wedge sliding, flexural toppling and direct toppling, across 8 or 9 dip-direction sectors or a single direction.
- Factor of safety: limit equilibrium per mode, parametric water models, bench-width effects, FS banding.
- Slope optimizer: steepest face angle that still meets the target FS, per sector, bench and overall.
- Strength criterion: Mohr-Coulomb or Barton-Bandis, including estimation from Schmidt-hammer field data.
- Scenarios: variations inside one project (e.g. dry vs saturated) with side-by-side comparison.
- Reports: PDF, editable Word and Excel, with methodology and bibliography, in all three languages.
